I used to read all the time…quite literally. I always had a book in my hand. I loved it. I still do, I guess, I just don’t have the time to devote to it like I used to. Or, I guess I should say, I devote my time to other things instead of reading (baby, house, cooking, working, couponing, etc.)
The only books I’ve read “for fun” in a long time were the Twilight books and those were intended for 6th graders so I’m not sure they count. Oh, I did also read another book but it was a bit off (to put it mildly) in it’s philosophy so to avoid any unwanted philosophical discussion, I’m not going to put it on the internet.
One of my favorite authors has a new book out – Donald Miller: A Million Miles in a Thousand Years. I went to Books a Million last week to pick it up and ended up getting two other books as well. (I had a coupon.) I’m leaving them out, not putting them on a shelf, because I’m determined to start reading again.
Who’s with me? Maybe we should start a book club…
